From site input to traceable screening

EnvoPulse combines site geometry, multiple environmental sources, local processing and quality checks into a structured screening output.

How the site screening works, step by step.

  1. 01 Define the site

    Start from coordinates or a polygon, with a configurable 10–250 m buffer around the selected area.

  2. 02 Collect source data

    Gather satellite, environmental, weather and vector data from the available providers.

  3. 03 Process the site

    Calculate local statistics, overlaps and distances for the selected site and surrounding area.

  4. 04 Check quality and sources

    Track source, date, resolution and limits, while keeping provider failures isolated from other data.

  5. 05 Build the output

    Return the provisional vegetation V1 and standardised inputs. UNCI, SYS and rankings require method approval.

Quality rules built into the screening

Data source priority

Use client-validated data first, then institutional or local sources, then European and open sources.

Missing stays missing

Unavailable data stays missing. It is never converted into zero, neutral values or assumed results.

Model is not field data

Grid and model outputs are described as estimates, with source limits preserved, never as field measurements.

Traceable outputs for review and audit

Export JSON, GeoJSON, CSV, PNG, HTML, PDF or ZIP with evidence, metadata and reproducibility records. Process checked by 62 automated tests.
